I would like to learn more about computers and everything about them...?

I can't afford to go to school, I know that there are grants and stuff but I can't do it and work where I work all at the same time. I have tried it and it didn't work out.





I am extremely interested in programming and networking. I have taught myself all that I can without help and now I just need to know in what direction to go and how to learn about everything without spending money. I have two children and all the bills in the home, my wife lost her job when my youngest daughter had to have heart surgery so i can't be spending money on books and things like that.





Can anyone tell me where to download and software (freeware) or find some EBook on the subjects that I mentioned previously. I love computers and really want to understand everything humanly possible about them.





Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Again thanks for any help that anyone can possibly give.

Almost every junior college, college, and university have computer courses you can take and many have degrees in computer sciences. Don't forget the tech colleges like ITT that specialize in electronics and computers. Plus if you enter something like ';computer tech schools'; into your browser you will come up with hundreds, if not thousands, of links. There are computer schools in every state so you shouldn't have any trouble finding one.I would like to learn more about computers and everything about them...?

I'd recommend just go ahead and start building a program, and look up/learn new things as needed.

I just go to google and type ';c++ functions'; or whatever, and you usually can find a plethora of information (A lot more than is in any book)





Also, if you want free software to learn on, I'd recommend microsoft visual studio express... it's free at msdn.com or microsoft.com
I think you can learn some skills from some course video online.
