This is totally possible with Facebook. If you don't already have a personal account, that'll be your first step. Next, set up a Page for your business. There you can display pictures, post sales, get feedback, etc.
Once that's done (if it isn't already) there an Ad Manager that you can create advertisements and market them geographically and based on interest. Also, it's really easy to stay within a budget since you can sign up using a Cost-per-click method. That way you can pay for, say hundred clicks a day, then when it reaches that, your ad won't show up again until the next day. And, if for some reason your ad only got 50 clicks that day, that's all you pay for.How can one sell by contacting ppl via social networking sites?

I just found this new site and its getting pretty popular. The unique thing about it is that its similiar to facebook and myspace but you get paid 4 it!
