A 3D application available on my home network uses Quicktime to stream video and audio. I'm now aware someone is exploiting this application to illicitly access private information on computers, and the developers of the application won't be plugging the hole any time soon. The application can have the feature turned off, but I'm concerned it won't completely fix the exploit. How do I wholesale block Apple Quicktime from being able to pass its traffic through my gateway? What ports does it use?Quicktime is being exploited on my network, how do I block it?
Port 80, in other words, blocking it would also block your other internet traffic. It would be better to uninstall the application in question.Quicktime is being exploited on my network, how do I block it?
Try to block it through the firewall settings.
delete it...
